Enhance social interaction

Therapeutic Art Classes in Sydney

for children, seniors and students with disability

Cope and recover from cognitive, emotional, or physical impairments

I run therapeutic art group sessions in Sydney for children, seniors and students with disability.

These sessions are designed for positive wellness and will benefit students and seniors who have developmental weakness or gradually deteriorating abilities.

I provide guided self-expression experiences to help participants recover from or cope with cognitive, emotional, or physical impairments.

Art activities can stimulate the brain in different ways.

It can help to stir memories and at times it can even encourage speech.

Art activities can help boost cognitive function in several areas of the brain.

It can also help to enhance the functions of the brain, communication, and social interactions.

Discovering and monitoring their creative moments can lead to initiating early interventions.

In my classes my students and I explore a variety of ideas, experiment with materials and colours.

We make meaningful connections about their work, developmental stage, literacy and social-emotional state.

Students will be  helped to grow their confidence and discover their insatiable drive to learn. The art space will become a place of comfort where everyone “fit in.”

Art is a beautiful and delicate bridge, built to reach into the heart of every student.
