Terms and Conditions: Therapeutic Art For Positive Wellness Studio

These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between Therapeutic Art For Positive Wellness (referred to as the "Studio") and the parents/legal guardians of children participating in art classes (referred to as "Participants").

 

1. Enrollment and Registration:

 

a. Enrollment Process: Parents/legal guardians are required to complete the registration and enrollment process for their child before participation in art classes at the Studio. This includes providing accurate contact information, emergency contact details, and any relevant medical information about the child.

 

b. Age Requirement: Children must meet the minimum age requirement specified by the Studio to enroll in classes.

 

2. Class Policies:

 

a. Attendance: Participants are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive punctually. If a Participant cannot attend a class, the Studio should be notified in advance.

 

b. Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, fellow participants, and Studio property. Disruptive behavior may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the class.

 

c. Supervision: Participants are under the supervision of Studio instructors during class hours. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for their child's behavior outside of class hours.

 

3. Fees and Payments:

 

a. Tuition Fees: Parents/legal guardians are responsible for paying tuition fees for their child's participation in art classes. Fees are due by the specified deadline.

 

b. Payment Methods: The Studio accepts payment via bank transfer, or cash. Payment details will be provided upon enrollment.

 

c. Late Payments: A late fee may be applied to payments not received by the due date. Persistent late payments may result in the Participant's suspension from classes.

 

4. Health and Safety:

 

a. Medical Conditions: Parents/legal guardians must inform the Studio of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect their child's participation in art classes.

 

b. Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, the Studio will take appropriate action to ensure the safety and well-being of Participants. Parents/legal guardians will be notified immediately.

 

c. Safety Measures: The Studio is committed to providing a safe environment for Participants. Safety measures, such as proper use of art materials and equipment, will be enforced during classes.

 

5. Photography and Publicity:

 

a. Photography: The Studio may take photographs or videos of Participants during classes for promotional purposes. Parents/legal guardians who do not wish for their child to be photographed must inform the Studio in writing.

 

b. Publicity: By enrolling their child in classes, parents/legal guardians grant the Studio permission to use photographs or videos of their child for promotional purposes, including website, social media, and printed materials.

6. Makeup Classes:

 

a. Eligibility: Participants who miss a scheduled class may be eligible for a makeup class, subject to availability and Studio policy.

 

b. Request: Parents/legal guardians must request a makeup class for their child within 7 days of the missed class. Makeup class requests should be made through email or phone.

 

c. Availability: Makeup classes are subject to availability and may be scheduled at the discretion of the Studio. The Studio will make reasonable efforts to accommodate makeup class requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

 

d. Limitations: Makeup classes must be scheduled within the Term of the missed class. Makeup classes cannot be carried over to subsequent terms or refunded.

 

e. Cancellation: If a Participant misses a scheduled makeup class without prior notification to the Studio, the makeup class opportunity may be forfeited.

 

f. Exclusions: Makeup classes may not be available for certain special events, workshops, or classes with limited capacity. The Studio will communicate any exclusions to Participants in advance.

 

g. Studio Discretion: The Studio reserves the right to modify the makeup class policy at its discretion. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to parents/legal guardians in a timely manner.

 

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

 

a. Cancellation: The Studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including instructor illness or inclement weather. In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule the class or provide a refund.

 

b. Refunds: Refunds will only be issued in cases where the Studio cancels a class. No refunds will be provided for withdrawals.

 

8. Parental Consent:

 

By enrolling their child in art classes at Therapeutic Art For Positive Wellness, parents/legal guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. They also consent to their child's participation in art activities and agree to release the Studio from any liability arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

 

9. Amendments:

 

The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be communicated to parents/legal guardians via email or posted on the Studio's website.
